PestSonix uses quad horn speakers that emit fluctuating multi-frequency ultrasonic waves, acoustic pressure pulses, and electromagnetic signals. These frequencies overstimulate the sensory receptors of spiders, gnats, and rodents, creating an unwelcoming environment that prompts them to vacate, entirely without chemicals, poison, or traps.

No. The ultrasonic frequencies emitted by PestSonix operate beyond the normal auditory range of humans, dogs, and cats. The device works quietly in the background without causing disruption to sleep or distress to common family pets.

PestSonix features an omnidirectional 360-degree design offering a claimed coverage area of up to 1,291 square feet in open indoor rooms. Since solid brick or plaster walls attenuate ultrasonic waves, we suggest using one unit per main living area or separate floor for best results.

The four selectable operating modes allow you to adjust ultrasonic frequency cycles and deterrence strength to suit your room. You can choose milder settings for bedrooms and continuous deterrence, or switch to higher modes with strobe lights for high-activity basements, lofts, or garages.

PestSonix is USB-powered using the included charging cable. Simply connect it to any standard USB wall plug adapter, extension socket, or power bank for continuous, energy-efficient 24/7 deterrence without the need to replace batteries.

Many UK customers notice a substantial reduction in spiders and insects within 3 to 7 days as existing pests become unsettled and abandon their hiding spots. Full environmental deterrence is typically established after 2 to 3 weeks of uninterrupted operation.
